  I offered the box set of the trilogy "back to the future" to a friend who has very much appreciated. I'm not a fan myself but the box is very nice. This film is a small wonder! My 5 year old daughter is a fan... and the moral is good! Everyone, or almost everyone knows these films. But for sure that remains the case, I've bought it to show to my 8 year old daughter. She liked, even if it is probable that she had not understood everything in the pellet vicinity :-) Movie to see at least once, with Whitney Houston as we would still see it. Charm, tenderness and beauty that derive from it in this movie!!! Kevin Costner also always a good actor and very good in his role, the two takes us without problems until the end of the film, without having to look at his watch. A must see! Very good movie, watching a family of good scenes, I really liked this movie a suspense all along. Delicious film to watch in family. Large and small will be delighted by this staple of French cinema. This film is fabulous and we take you from laughter to tears. Tom Hanks has one of his greatest roles.

I agree in the first category, while understanding the reservations of the latter - even though I wish that critics and moviegoers (especially the French critics) do not seem to be able to taste of aesthetics which is too much in the margins of the three large families of naturalism in the French style (family Renoir/Pialat/Kechiche), the contemplative to the european family, Bergman/Tarkovsky/Bilge Ceylan) and the hyper-stylized hollywood (family Welles/Kubrick/PT Anderson). Except experimental devices, the personalities of the universe is too rich, too codified, are pretty generally bought in the rank of 'clipeurs' : the insult supreme. Too much show off, too much process, not enough inspiration, not enough improvisation. As if the executives of Pialat, the plans of Tarkovsky or the tracking shots of Welles were not processed and manufactured... in Short. Like a Jacques Tati or Robert Bresson, Wes Anderson's universe is immediately recognizable, and, after having made his film with the most modest and most affecting (Moonrise Kingdom), he chose to let go of this ambitious project, non-standard and, as if to defy its detractors, has repeated all his obsessions, has filed all of its tics and mannerisms, has condensed his entire universe.

It is true this movie is not the movie of the century, but it does not lie on the goods. It is an English movie rather well-worn by its actors, the story is composed of several romantic stories, which intersect. The stories are rather touching even if they are not all too realistic, there's some funny scenes, especially with the rock star.

  So if you like this kind of movie you will not be disappointed, this was not my kind of movie but I still enjoyed it a good time.. The initial idea (the dinner of idiots) is pretty weird but is in fact only the pretext for a lengthy series of gags since the dinner will not take place. The situations are kind of strung together without falter and the pace comedy of the film is virtually uninterrupted. As usual, Thierry L Hermitte and Jacques Villeret are both excellent in a register, however pretty different, but I would give a special mention to Daniel Prevost for his appearance, which, for short, is one of the funniest of the film. Great comedy film, with often an element of truth that is very real. We can all relate to. I'm not a fan of Bruel, but there it is perfect! Yet keen on Colin Firth, I must admit to not be as excited about this film than the previous commentators. You will pass a rainy afternoon but, according to me, no more! Nothing to say about the quality of encoding of the trilogy in HD, it is perfect. The bonuses are absolutely identical to those already included in the DVD release a few years ago. By contrast, the model of the DMC12 deLorean is catastrophic. It is an aluminum block painted approximately in a single color, it's ugly and not very representative. In short, the collector box is to avoid emergency. Close to the cabinet 3 Bluray cheaper and widely enough.
